I have done some looking around on the aforementioned site, and here is what I have noticed:

1: The site is actually a For-Profit business entity

2: Site would get paid by those non-profit entities a fee after the contributions so generated reaches a threshold. That money would come out of your contributions to those non-profit entities, and will not be available for supporting your/their good cause.

3: I would suggest you make your charitable donations directly to support charity/non-profit group dedicated to a cause that is dear to you.

4: Why make your charities and non-profit organizations pay a finder's fee when you can route your donations/contributions to them directly instead of routing through a for-profit business such as the one being mentioned by the original poster.
